BillM Mods Complete!

Thanks to BillM for both a great set of mods as well as a great set of instructions. The whole thing was dead-easy. Heck, getting the board loose to work on was the only tricky bit. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some playing to do.

I suggest also adding the TO20 output tranny and you will be very impressed IMO. It's an easy install if you can pull the durn circuit board. It will make your amp sound huge and improve the bottom end even more.

I have all those other mods as well as installed a Warehouse Speakers version of the Celestion G12H. Pleased I am!

Good luck, Richard

Congrats. I just did these earlier this year (only I did the whole list). Makes a wonderful difference. Have fun jamming.

I did the basic mods last year, and then almost all the rest available for the green board last month. First time I have ever done anything like that so credit to the mod designer Bill M and to his great instructions. Funny thing is, the easiest mod was the one that I did wrong. I did the twin stack mod backwards, so the result was 12 on the Mid pot was fully off and zero was a weird eq mixture that is hard to describe. Fortunately the easiest mod is also the easiest to fix

I was gonna buy a new speaker, but thinking now maybe I don't have to. I like right where this amp is already!

Congrats on the mods!! My son and I tried to do a few of them on my BJr and things didn't turn out too well. I ended up sending my chassis to Bill and he finished up the job for us. I love my BillM Blues Jr! Highly recommended.
